Hi, I’m Ella, a reflexologist based in Bramham near Wetherby. Reflexology is a gentle complementary therapy that involves the therapist using their hands to apply specific pressure and massage techniques to various points on the client’s feet, hands and face. It is thought that all organs and systems in the body (for example, the digestive system) are mapped onto these areas and applying pressure to these specific points can help bring about balance and promote a deep sense of relaxation and wellbeing.
I set up Restore Reflexology a year ago, and since lockdown, I feel that people have developed a renewed sense of focus on their wellbeing and self-care.
